Every dog is different in terms of its ability and its attitude to work and that's why we believe it's important - particularly for novices - to learn how to "read" their own dog. By that we mean how to almost be a step ahead of what your dog is thinking and how he may react to a situation.

Equally, to understand why he has done something in a certain way and how to correct it by adopting the appropriate approach for that particular dog.
