Tewellers Matilda of Fenway
(Quarnford Grouse of Rufriver x Fenway Lapwing)

It is well known that “the strength of a kennel lies in its bitches” and  that is certainly the case with Tewellers Matilda of Fenway who is proving to be another huge asset. She is also a daughter of Fenway Lapwing and so is a grand-daughter of our famous brood bitch Fenway Teal. Easy to train and ultra-responsive, she has the sweetest, biddable attitude to everything she does and  is a joy to work with as a member of our picking-up team.

Matilda has produced a string of outstanding progeny by Fenway Brock which incudes our own stud dog, Fenway Tallin, his sister Fenway Willow Grouse and the up and coming young bitch Fenway Fable.

Matilda’s son Fenway Goodwill is now in Texas and his brother Fenway Lucas is in West Virginia, while her daughter Fenway Portia has recently left us for a new home in Chicago.

We are very proud of Fenway Eventide (FT Ch Meadowlark Big Rock Fendawood x Fenway Willow Grouse) who has matured into an outstanding bitch. She already has a daughter in The Netherlands we are very much looking forward to her next litter this year.

Making his annual summer trip across the Atlantic aboard the Queen Mary 2 is the remarkable Bunker, a son of Fenway Brock. He spends each summer in France with his owner who lives in Texas and has  been trained as her assistance dog. She says: “He’s a one in a billion dog and our bond is so strong. He’s the best Assistance Dog our certification school in Texas has ever seen.”

Fenway Grace (Brigburn Perigrine x Wild Swan of Fenway) is the eighth generation of the Fenway female line. We are hopeful of great things from Grace who is a maternal granddaughter of International FT Ch Beileys Aguzannis of Fendawood.

Congratulations to two Fenway dogs and their owners on their success at the Pennine Training Area Working Test in March. Well done Laila Curtis-Noonan with Fenway Isolde who took second place in Novice Dog/Novice Handler. And a great win in the Veteran Test for Paul Brown with Tewellers Freya of Fenway.

I Believe I Can Fly
In early March 2020 our lovely Fenway Traveller (Fenway Brock x Miss America of Fenway) left us to start a new life in Switzerland.

His owners chartered a private jet to fly to the UK to collect him personally. He behaved impeccably on the flight – as any VIP (Very Important Puppy) would do  – and is now  happy and settled in his new home.
